Additional chapters about the history, the production, and distribution including a deep insight into the ordering and managing process of the Präsidialkanzlei based on original documents from the Bundesarchiv make this book by far the most extensive look at this medal and will most likely never be surpassed. The author Sindri Arinbjarnarson has also developped a very unique system that will guide the interested collector through the process of identifying every medal. Sindri has also achieved what up to now was not in place: a comprehensive and correct categorizing of the makers into sensible and logical design groups.
